Privacy

Last updated 13 October 2026

This policy explains what personal data UI Library collects, why, who handles it and what you can ask of us. It applies wherever you are; visitors in the European Union and the United Kingdom also have the rights the GDPR gives them.

UI Library is the data controller. Write to support@uilibrary.dev with any question or request.

What we collect

  • Waitlist. Your email address, where on the site you signed up, when, and when we emailed you.
  • Account. Your email address, your plan, when you joined and when you got Pro. You sign in with emailed links, so there is no password.
  • Install token. If you have Pro, we keep only a fingerprint of your token, its last four characters so you can recognize it, and when it was last used. We cannot read the token itself.
  • Orders. The order number, the email used, the amount, the currency and whether it was paid or refunded. Card details go to Polar; we never see them.
  • Support. What you send to support@uilibrary.dev, and our replies.
  • Technical data. When you visit the site or call the MCP server, our host records standard request data such as your IP address, browser and the address requested. We do not store what you search for over MCP.

We use no analytics, no advertising and no tracking across sites.

Cookies and storage

We set cookies only to keep you signed in. The site also remembers your theme and accent color in your browser’s storage; that stays on your device. None of these are used to follow you, so there is no consent banner.

Why we use it

  • To run your account and deliver Pro, because that is our agreement with you.
  • To email the waitlist, because you asked us to. You can withdraw that consent at any time.
  • To answer support requests and keep records the law requires.
  • To keep the site and services secure and working, which is our legitimate interest.

Who processes it for us

  • Vercel hosts the site and keeps its request logs.
  • Supabase holds the database and handles sign-in.
  • Resend sends our emails, sign-in links included, and receives mail to support@uilibrary.dev.
  • Google hosts the mailbox support emails are forwarded to.
  • Polar takes payments as merchant of record and handles your payment under its own privacy policy.

These providers process data on our behalf, mostly in the United States. When we transfer data from the EU or the UK, we rely on the safeguards the GDPR requires, such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

  • Waitlist entries until you ask us to remove them.
  • Accounts until you ask us to delete them.
  • Orders for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
  • Request logs for the short period our host keeps them.

Your rights

You can ask whether we hold data about you, get a copy, have it corrected or deleted, and take it elsewhere. You can also object to how we use it or withdraw a consent you gave. Write to support@uilibrary.dev; we answer within 30 days.

If you are in the EU or the UK and not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to your data protection authority.

US residents

We do not sell or share your personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising. If a US state law, such as California’s, gives you rights to know, correct or delete your data, you can use them by writing to support@uilibrary.dev. We will not treat you differently for doing so.

Children

UI Library is a tool for developers and is not meant for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We will update this page if what we collect or how we use it changes, and change the date at the top. For significant changes we will also email account holders.
